Whisperings Solo Piano Concert - Duluth, GA
Whisperings Solo Piano Radio Concert Series returns to Atlanta, GA for 2013 with the legendary David Lanz (Cristofori's Dream), Joseph Akins and Chad Lawson. Enjoy an evening of contemporary piano music from these three talented artists as they perform their original compositions as heard on Whisperings.com and around the globe.
DOOR PRIZES will be given away! Autographed CDs and sheet music will be available. Meet and greet with the artists.

David Lanz is a two-time Grammy nominee, whose album "Heartsounds" helped launch the famed Narada records in the early 80's. He is best known for his composition "Cristofori's Dream," one of the most celebrated piano works of this generation. "Cristofori's Dream" was #1 on Billboard's first adult alternative/new age chart for 27 weeks and eventually sold platinum. Today, David has a discography of 35 beloved albums. www.davidlanz.com
ABOUT JOSEPH AKINS

Based in Nashville, pianist-composer Joseph Akins has cultivated a sound that blends a variety of musical styles with his southern roots. To date, he has released four albums in the contemporary new age piano genre. A Piano Christmas (2011) was nominated as Best Holiday Album of the Year at SoloPiano.com, and Spirit Touch (2009) was included in the Top 40 for the Decade of 2000-2009 at MainlyPiano.com. Joseph is an Associate Professor of Recording Industry at Middle TN State University.

Chad Lawson is just about the polar opposite of every other solo pianist out there. He has toured the world with Julio Iglesias, is an official Steinway performing artist, recipient of "Album of the Year" on Whisperings Solo Piano Radio and has scored several films.

Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio performs concerts across the country that showcase the artists you hear on this broadcast. It's a wonderful opportunity to see several artists from the show perform live in one sitting. Plus, hang out to meet and greet the artists afterwards!
