This workshop will introduce methods for exploring the local urban landscape of Bushwick. We will walk with our cameras as a group and exercise methods of active looking - honing our perceptions of the interaction between light and texture, place and history, the fabric of the contemporary cultural landscape. Observing unique facets of the environs (i.e. - railroad tracks, industrial architecture, etc.) in tandem with graffiti murals and passers-by. Nicholas will work one on one with students on technical and compositional elements as well as elements of style. This workshop is suited for photographers of all skill levels.
