Mifflinburg Wine Festival & Home Brew Competition
Ten wineries and the Rusty Rail will be at this year's wine festival at the VFW Carnival Grounds. Music all day by James Day & the Fish Fry playing New Orleans rock/rhythm and blues, plus Cajun and zydeco toe tapping two stepping tunes. Handcrafted art and craft vendors will be offering their products to you from jewelry to smoked cheese to wine racks and more. Food vendors including Smokin' Bob's BBQ, Seefeldt Brats, Taylor Concessions, Sweet Dreams Premium Ice Cream and Dynamic Wings will have food. This year's wineries include: Armstrong Winery, Seven Mountains, Broad Mountain, Spyglass Ridge, Brookmere, Woody Lodge, Timber Ridge, Vineyard at Hershey, Juniata Valley and Kulpmont. Rusty Rail will also offer craft brew tastings. New this year is a home brew beer competition done in collaboration with the Rusty Rail. The winner will receive bragging rights, a trophy and their recipe will be adapted by the Rusty Rail as a sidetrack batch for serving at the restaurant.
