Relay Dance Collective presents ENCORE

Relay Dance Collective returns for a final fantastic show: Encore, a collection of our most beloved pieces. The evening will include works by emerging and established dance-makers, as well as "Farewell Shikata ga nai," which combines dance, Asian American theater, and live music by Seattle Kokon Taiko. "Farewell Shikata ga nai" was created with grants from the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and Seattle JACL. RDC's Encore show will also feature live musical performances by The Bad Tenants, who will enliven Yaw Theater in West Georgetown with hip-hop, soul, and blues. Come celebrate RDC's six years of building new audiences for dance and creating community in Seattle.
