After over a decade of educating the children of Hollywood's elite, comedian Shelby Stockton decided enough was enough. It was time to get back to business, refocus, and live her life.

But what is a retired teacher to do with a permanent schedule of 'personal days'? Head to Europe, naturally.

Like Josephine Baker and Ernest Hemingway before her, Shelby decided she would find inspiration in Paris while living the life of an ex-pat. And, never one to rest on her laurels, she decided to create a project for herself. She would be an AMERICAN CHEERLEADER IN PARIS! (And, to keep things tax-deductible, she'd document it all in blog form.)

Armed with her pom-poms, patriotic get-up, and all-original, all-American cheers, Shelby hit the streets of Paris to give the Parisians what was missing from their daily lives- good, old fashioned, American charm!
