BEST OF BIG BAND
The Canyon Lake Choraleers spring concert "Best of the Big Band" will include well-known songs from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s by composers George Gershwin, Richard Rogers, Glen Miller, Irving Berlin and others.
"Blue Skies," "Embraceable You," "Isn't It Romantic," "It Had to Be You," "The Way You Look Tonight," "Moonlight Serenade," and "Java Jive" are a few of the nostalgic songs concertgoers will hear.


In addition to Canyon Lake's resident pianist Lynda Salina, members of Elsinore High Advanced Jazz Ensemble will accompany the chorus on some selections, as well as serenade the guests with a couple of their own favorites.

The concert will include a raffle during intermission that will include a cash prize. The no-host bar will feature a special themed drink.
