The Little Mermaid plus Student Choreography Showcase
The Piedmont High School Dance Department presents "The Little Mermaid" April 19, 20, and 21 at 7:30pm in the Alan L Harvey Theater. Director/choreographer Amy Moorhead's adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale is set in a 1950s high school by the seaside. A showcase of student choreography follows "The Little Mermaid". Guest choreographers Princeton Liu (PHS 2017) and William Bassett (PHS 2011) also present original dance works as part of the showcase following The Little Mermaid. The production includes 32 dancers from Piedmont High School and Millennium High School. "The Little Mermaid" is appropriate for the entire family and is presented first on the program.
