Comedian/actor Sweeneys keen dialect and character skills have made him a key figure in Bostons cultural landscape. Sweeneys career includes 25 films, national television appearances, radio hosting, and thousands of nights headlining Boston's best comedy clubs He has been a featured on major television shows including David Letterman, Evening at the Improv, Comics Come Home and Comedy Central, and starred in his own Boston-based sitcom, Park Street Under. His trademark political satire has earned him top host spots on Boston radio stations 100.7FM WZLX (Sweeneys Neighborhood) and 95.9FM WATD (Jay Mohr and Opie & Anthony.) In addition to standup and his one-man theater show Townie, Sweeney starred and co-produced the movie Sweeney Killing Sweeney (planned 2019 release), and co-hosts a show on Boston Herald Radio with former Massachusetts Treasurer Joe Malone.
Both of the other comedians have local ties, as both live in Beverly, though not in the same house.
Dave Rattigan has performed at bowling alleys, shopping mall food courts, hospitals, a library, in the lobby of an office, and a fishing dock (while a boat unloaded behind him). His CD (Dave Rattigan: Thinks Hes Funny) has received airplay on Sirius satellite radio and other stations and podcasts, and his video clips run on NickMom.com and RooftopComedy.com. Hes made three appearances on the syndicated Steve Katsos Show, and lent his voice to the animated Drill Booth, scheduled for 2019 release. Hes performed in Ireland at the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Kilkenny, and at the Hampton Beach (NH) Comedy Festival, the Boston Comedy Festival, and the Women in Comedy Festival. He owns Scamps Comedy Productions, which produces shows in large venues and small, and has helped raise more than $1.8 million for good causes.
Will Martin is a Boston-based comedian who charms audiences across New England. Distinctively uncool, the Gordon College graduate has the vibe of a fun young dad and the earnest joy of a golden retriever puppy. He's performed at the esteemed Comedy Studio and Beverlys Larcom Theater, and hosts a regular monthly show at the Castle Café in Beverly. Will is featured in the indie film YouthMin, and even though post-noon caffeine keeps him up he usually can't resist a gas station coffee.
