Person Centered Thinking (PCT) Training Event
Person Centered Thinking is a fun filled and busy two-day training that provides participants with skills and tools used to support individuals with mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance use/addiction needs.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1) Describe the three levels of change in the person-centered thinking model. 2) Utilize the first five skills (Important To/For, Matching Staff, Communication/Learning Logs, 4 Plus 1 Questions, Working/Not Working) to provide person-centered supports. 3) Apply person-centered thinking practice to make a positive difference in the lives of people supported.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Intellectual/Developmental Disability professionals and others interested in the practical application of person-centered practices and tools.

PCT training is free for Cardinal Innovations employees and available to Providers in the Cardinal Innovations Provider Network at a nominal fee of $40.00 per participant plus a processing fee. If you have trouble with the registration, please contact ccd.corp@cardinalinnovations.org
CERTIFICATE: To receive a certificate of attendance, participants must attend both full days of Person Centered Thinking Training. This training meets the 12-hour requirement as outlined in the state service definitions. Participants will learn practical information and get useful tools to enhance their person-centered practice in the field.
Continuing Education Units are not issued for this training.
