Neit/her He nor They/r
MAP Theatre and Midnight Rice Productions team up to present ...
MAPs Night Off: Neit/her He nor They/r Neit/her He nor They/r is the Seattle iteration of the "Non-Binary Monologue Project", conceived by formerly-local artist K. Woodzick. Emerging non-binary artist Evan Price curates & directs the Seattle show, which features a full cast of trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming performers.
Neit/her He nor They/r is a fierce and joyous discovery, declaration and celebration of self-truth, exploring the wide variety of experience within the trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming communities through the juxtaposition of modern and classical text. It dovetails perfectly with MAPs mainstage show, Year of the Rooster, which was written by trans playwright Olivia Dufault.
Tickets to MAP shows are always Name-Your-Own-Price, with no service fees.
========== More About MAPs Night Off
Once a mainstage show opens, MAP only needs the theatre on performance nights. What happens to the theatre on all those other nights? When the MAPs away the mice will play! In this case, the mice are trusted and fierce creative voices in our community who have an idea and simply need a space to work it out. MAP provides the space and some production assistance, and our partner provides the magic.
