Walking Tour of the Nipomo Native Garden -- Cindy Jelinek

Nipomo Native Gardens
$5 for LLCC members, $10 for non-members
Come enjoy a 3/4 mile walking tour of the Nipomo Native Garden, part of the Nipomo Regional Park.
This 12-acre botanical garden includes paved walking trails, information kiosks, a Childrens Garden and a Little Free Library.
You will learn about the history of the garden, become familiar with some of the plants native to the Nipomo Mesa, and find out about what challenges and rewards there are in maintaining and developing this unique place.
There are some benches to rest on as you walk around.
Cindy Jelinek has lived in Nipomo for 41 years. She worked at Cal Poly as an academic advisor for 30 years. She has been involved in the Nipomo Native Garden since its inception in 1992 and is currently the president of its board.
