Welcome to Big White Rock Around the Rock -Rockabilly Weekend and Suburban Swing/ Strictly Swing Summer Retreat 2018.

Location: Big White Resort Kelowna 5315 Big White Rd, Kelowna, BC V1P 1P3

Instructors: Jason and Crystal Warner (Abbotsford BC) - Christy and Cody Kerr (Spokane Washington)

Four dance workshops that will include, Balboa, Shag, and Lindy Hop.

Join us for a weekend of all things Swing, Jive & Rock n' Roll this July - enjoy a fun packed weekend of live music and dancing brought to you by some extremely talented artists & dancers, including our friends at Suburban Swing from Abbotsford and Strickly Swing in Spokane Washington!

For only $20 (+ tax) your wristband includes no-cover entry to ALL live music events at Globe & Black Forest Day Lodge, a FREE Saturday beginner swing lesson guaranteed to turn you into a pro in no time, COMPLIMENTARY wine-tasting with our feature winery Nostalgia from Oliver Twist Winery, and a FREE delicious malt shake from our 50's shake shack! Plus a chance to win door prizes courtesy of our great partners including PINNED Boutique, Tommy Guns Barber Shop & The Axe Monkeys!

If you are a more serious dancer or student dancer and would like to experience world-class dance workshops & instruction during the weekend too, be sure to get the $80 wristband ($60 early bird price) which includes at least 4 further dance workshops hosted by dance instructors from Canada & the USA, Christy & Cody Kerr and Jason & Crystal Warner.

The line up of vintage-inspired live music talent includes The Lounge Hounds, Black Cat Soul & Kitsch n' Sync among others. Dance the night away on Friday and Saturday nights and enjoy an outdoor boogie-woogie in beautiful Big White village on Saturday too...

PLUS this year you can also take in the annual Big White CiderFest featuring dozens of local cideries sampling their fruity brews in the village centre on Saturday, July 28th too! This is guaranteed to be one of the most fun-filled summer weekends on our beautiful mountain.....

10 am - 11 am Double Bug - Two follows one lead.  Need basic Lindy hop to attend.
1 pm -2 pm Beginner/Intermediate Shag Workshop
