"Everything Kicks" is the first feature length documentary directed by Oakland, CA native, Phillip Nelson. It provides film goers with an in-depth look at the subculture of America's "sneaker heads."
Everything Kicks features interviews with some of today's top names in the game. We meet several collectors who have invested years of their time and energy into growing their collections. Franalations, who has amassed a collection some of the world's "hardest to find" sneakers; and Jordan Geller, owner of The Shoezeum, whose collection of over 2000 sneakers fills a 7,500 square foot Las Vegas space and is valued at over one million dollars. "Everything Kicks" takes viewers on tour through California's most exclusive sneaker stores and also discusses the business of resellers who make a living spending cold nights outside shopping malls to get sneakers that others kill for. Literally.
