A Belge-Francophobe customs officer is forced to team up with a Frenchman during the elimination of the Franco-Belge borders in the 90s.
In this tiny border town between France and Belgium, life is all about customs. So when headlines announce the opening of the E.C. borders in the early 90s, a loud cry of panic goes up Noooooooooooooo!; Ruben is a Belgian customs officer with an abiding hatred of all things French. Mathias is the French customs officer whos secretly in love with Rubens sister, the girl from the chocolate shop, Louise. The couples love will be tested by a series of hilarious misunderstandings involving a drug smuggling ring, a frog-hating Belgian father, and Rubens desire to see his sister get married to a Belgian colleague, that is. Its waffles vs. camembert, in a fight to the finish.
