"300 Years Ago in Pennsylvania" Trip
This day trip will examine Pennsylvania cultural history of 300 years ago by visiting historic buildings, including houses, churches, meeting houses, and mills--which stood prior to 1718 in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Your tour is guided by Jim Lewars, former site director at Landis Valley. Jim has led many other tours for Summer Institute and is an expert on early American history.
Trip is part of Landis Valley's 2018 Summer Institute.
Times to Remember: Breakfast: 8-9 a.m. Bus boards at 8:45 a.m. and departs at 9 a.m. Please note that prices quoted include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the NO-MEAL pricing option, which is $20 less per day you are participating in Institute.
Cancellation Policy: Registrations will be taken up until June 1. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. Students can make another choice or receive a full refund. Please read the information in your confirmation regarding any materials/tools you may need.
Students must be age 18 or older. Please visit our website, www.landisvalleymuseum.org, for more information on Institute. Landis Valley Associates (LVA) members receive 5% off their registration.
