Baba Yaga's House

The Witch is making a return in our modern, late-capitalist, anthropocenic age. In this class, we will discuss her presence and the many historical & cultural connotations of the world and the concept. The story and the medicine of identifying as a witch, and how modern witches are apart of an ancient lineage of folks who live in the margins, see in the dark, create healign plant medicine, magic, and hear and speak in the voice of the invisible world. We will discuss inclusion, trauma of the burning times, revitalization of the old ways, ancestral witchcraft and herbalism and other ancient healing modalities as bridges in our craft.

Milla was born and raised in endless Boreal forests of Finland, surrounded by hidden messages of ancient plant medicine traditions, and folk magic. Her work as an herbalist in the Pacific Northwest is deeply rooted in the practice of bio-regionalism, Earth Activism, and local resilience. It is her dream to empower folks to discover their own ancestral magic, and revive their own holistic traditions.
