Dr. Carter G. Woodson Museum's First Ladies in African American History
Sunday, April 22, 2018 the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American History Museum will host its fourth celebration of St. Petersburg's "First Ladies in African American History." The event will recognize and honor those who have achieved "firsts" historically as African American women.
This year's featured guest will be a STEM Pioneer and Boeing Engineer who contributed to the successful space launch of Apollo 11, Marion Lee Johnson. Ms. Johnson's accomplishments are "out of this world," and her testimony of success is riveting.
The 2018 First Ladies in African American History honorees are:

Winnie Foster Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient Lorna Taylor
The event will begin at 4:00 p.m St. Petersburg Marriott.
