NUVO and Piradical Productions will host the third annual all age Punk Rock Prom. Every year the Punk Rock Prom has been held at a different venue. In 2006 it started small at the Twin Oaks Clubhouse on the Westside of Indianapolis and in 2007 the prom was moved downtown to The Underground in the basement of the Harrison Center for the Arts. This year it will be held at the Earth House located at 237 N. East Street, which is also the same address as The Lockerbie Square United Methodist Church. The venue is complete with it own fair trade only coffee bar. The popular ska band, MU330 from St. Louis, Missouri will be headlining the show. The band started in 1988 in high school with kids from a jazz band and is now on the label Asian Man Records. Punk band The Methadones, who are signed with Red Scared Records and from Chicago will also perform. They contain a member from the legendary Screeching Weasel. Bloth will also perform. This band is misspelled on purpose, because the band will be performing songs from the locally successful hardcore punk band Bolths early ska influenced album 10 Shakes. INGSOC and Counteractive will also fill out the bill. So dress your best and bring your dancing shoes!
