An Evening of Live Radio Drama/Comedy from Four-Eyed Jacks Productions
Two live radio plays: drama/comedies with live sound effects.
What is a Radio Play?
A Radio Play is like a stage play except that the stage is inside your head. We give you the words and the sounds that go with them and you envision the scenic surroundings in your mind. This gives us an amazing amount of flexibility. The story could take place in the jungle, aboard a pirate ship, underwater, under a microscope, floating in deep space...lots of places that are difficult to present in a stage play. Radio Plays were first presented, obviously, on the radio and lost a lot of audience share with the advent of television. But recently they have been gaining ground again (known today as "Audio Drama") in large part because of the popularity of Audio Books. We use modern technology to create Radio Plays that use stylistic elements and techniques from the early days.
Zombie: A Modern Tragedy:
Fred Farnsworth's company (EcoBob Industries) has decided to diversify by entering the world of exotic Vodkas. Mr. Dalrymple, Fred's boss, gives him a sample bottle of the prototype Vodka to try out. It tastes great, but there seems to be a few unintended side-effects.
The Adventures of Super-Speedy Man!
