Static, is its physical manifestation--the product of electrical charges and their imbalance, creating an electric disturbance, an error consistent in our interaction with electricity. Its the white noise on the radio, the glitch on a TV with no signal, a surprising shock to the body.
This phenomenon is the catalyst for the conversion of electric energy into something extraordinary: Static Exhibition.
Immerse yourself into the frequency of sound and transfigure into the pulsing rhythms transversing throughout the space, imitating the electricity that embodies hearts beating. Synthesized glitches in custom projected visuals, aerial performances, and the sounds of the electronic music underground will emulate many spectrums of energy during this unique audiovisual experience.
We welcome our special guest LEViTATE and a renowned electronic music producer and visual artist, along with a shining bill of local talent for this event. Happening one night only, this event features two stages, custom made immersive visuals on a projection mapped stage in addition to a 60 foot projected backdrop, this visual experience will be unlike any other. A second upstairs silent disco with two channels of music to satisfy the tastes of many, powered by Sounddown Seattle.

Over the last few years, Seattle-based artist LEViTATE has established his place as one of the most distinguished and respected producers in his class. The mysterious and metamorphic nature of his productions has solidified his position at the forefront of the electronic hip-hop landscape. With inspirations stemming from dubstep, drum & bass, turntablism, rap, and left-field bass music, he has has forged his own lane with his versatility and an unmistakable futuristic sound. Having garnered the heavy support of Bassnectar early on in his career for his original song God Status, LEViTATE collaborated with the bass music pioneer on two separate albums and played his inaugural festival, Bass Center in July 2016. Their
collective tune with Macntaj, Level Up, was also featured in the 2017 X-Games broadcast on ESPN. Not only has LEViTTE collaborated with Bassnectar, Fuse 808 Mafia, Mayhem, Holly, Havok Roth, HPNTK, Gunplay, Macntaj, Zuse, and more - but his music has been a staple in the sets of Excision, G-Jones, Snails, Kai Wachi, UZ, Mayhem, HXV, Minnesota, Mt. Eden, and YOOKiE. Boasting an already extensive discography, LEViTATEs releases via Amorphous Music (Bassnectar), Division Recordings (Noisia), Buygore (Borgore), Block Society,
Cr2 Records, and All Trap Music have amassed features on a host of respected music outlets including Billboard, Huffington Post, and Rolling Stone. Aside from the handful of notable label placements, LEViTATE also self-released a full 13-song concept album, Mecca, in the Fall of 2016 which commenced a new found level of recognition and momentum within the music world. The album was well received, and really cemented a distinct sound listeners could recall going forward. His carefully crafted live Ableton performances have brought him from his residency at Seattles Q Nightclub supporting acts like Baauer, Shlohmo, and Hudson Mohawke to headlining slots across the country at Opera Nightclub (Atlanta), SKY (Salt Lake City), The Outpost Concert Club (Ohio), District N9ne (Philly), and back again. LEViTATE's cinematic music style, and steady flow of content has generated a quickly growing and demanding fan base.
