Collaboration Four

Every third weekend a group of experienced playwrights and actors gather at The Actors Studio of Newburyport to collaborate and workshop each others new work. The playwrights give their pages to the actors in advance, the actors bring the words to life, suggestions are made, and before long a new play is born.

Playwrights from this workshop have been produced at more than fifty festivals around the country, from The Fusion Theaters The Seven to The Players Theater in NYC, and their plays have been performed at The Boston Theater Marathon a dozen times.

Every year has been amazing and we are excited for another terrific collection of drama and comedy written, performed, and directed by a very talented group, providing an excellent night of theater, filled with surprises! Marc Clopton, Executive Director of The Actors Studio.

We have some of the areas best writers and actors banding together to create our own form of magic, says actor, director, and playwright Charlie Bradley. The help Ive received has been fantastic.

All proceeds will benefit The Actors Studio of Newburyport.
