Magnum Opus wraps up its successful premiere season with a gala collection of classical ballet and contemporary dance. The stage will teem with the professional company and a dozen youth dancers. Four dance schools will be represented with Magnum Opus to appear in a distinctive piece to close the performance. The company will perform to pieces contributed by nine diverse choreographers from across the country. A dramatic solo cello on-stage will accompany some dances. A production loaded with an abundant variety of dancers, choreography and music.
Magnum Opus has quickly earned a reputation for thoughtful, beautiful and stirring performances. The young company has already made a strong imprint on Madisons ballet scene. Season one culminates on May 18th and 19th with graceful abundance.
