People Inside Electronics presents ELECTRIC VIRTUOSITY
Concert series People Inside Electronics (PIE) presents "Electric Virtuosity," an evening of virtuosic solos and duos for classical instruments and electronics at Monk Space, at the edge of Koreatown and Hancock Park on March 9th, 2013 at 8pm. The guest artists, all Angelenos, have appeared as soloists with major orchestras and as featured artists on local chamber music series. The program includes works by Mario Davidovsky, Eric Moe, Shaun Naidoo, Tom Flaherty, Benjamin Broening, Ken Walicki, and Frances White.
"This is a program of works that showcases the world-class musicians we have in Los Angeles," says PIE co-director Aron Kallay. "The performers will combine their own considerable talents and unique voices with computer generated sound and live processing in an intimate performance space. This is an event not to be missed."
The featured performers will be Sarah Thornblade, Pamela Vliek Martchev, Grace Fong, Paul Sherman, Magie Parkins, Eric Jacobs, Tom Peters, and Tereza Stanislav.
