Nobody's Girl at Folk All Y'all
Hailing from Texas, Alabama, and Georgia respectively, now neighbors in Austin, BettySoo, Grace Pettis, and Rebecca Loebe are bewitching audiences with sumptuous harmonies and unforgettable songwriting. Friends now for a decade, they first met at the legendary Kerrville Folk Festival, each winners of the annual New Folk award. Luscious harmony singers, effortless instrumentalists, seasoned touring artists they recognized what each can accomplish individually could be made all the stronger by collaboration. Now, the spark has been set, the fire lit.
Because most of our guests are from outside Memphis, theres always a little bit of now or never to our show opportunities, but in this case, it really may be your only chance to see this amazing configuration of artists. Each of these women is so profoundly herself and incapable of being summed up in a few descriptors, but its their clear, distinctive identities that make their fusion so arresting.
This show is presented by our friends at Studio 688 and hosted at their Midtown event space.
About Folk All Y'all: Our mission is to present world-class singer-songwriters in an intimate, attentive environment. Our guests and artists are here to connect and do not distract themselves or other guests with photography, recording, or other diversions during the show. We are entirely volunteer-run and 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artist.
