Conquering Mount Manure
Have more manure that you know what to do with? Learn tips, techniques and strategies for managing manure that can improve animal health, reduce pests, enhance pastures, and . Receive great resources, from professionals at the Clark Conservation District and Small Acreage Program and visit Road's End Farm, a horse facility that has been recognized as a Small Acreage Program Model Property for manure management practices that keep our water clean. This workshop will cover manure storage plans, options for using or getting rid of your manure, composting techniques, how to use manure safely as a fertilizer and spreading manure on pastures.
This workshop is put on by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by joint sponsorship from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.
