22nd Annual King Dream Awards Banquet
As we celebrate 365 days of Black History and commemorate the 50th anniversary (MLK 50) and legacy of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., what an exciting time as we continuously discover historical accomplishments of African Americans that benefit all Americans. On Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:30pm, the beautiful Chesapeake Conference Center, Chesapeake, VA will transform as we celebrate The 22nd Annual Implement the King Dream Awards Banquet.
We pause to pay tribute to Dr. Martin L. King, Jr., a man who stood for equality and justice for all persons and who eventually gave his life for this cause. Persons in the Hampton Roads community who perform selfless acts and daily exemplify and implement the dream of the late soldier for justice will also be celebrated at this event.
