The Moon Cats

The Moon Cats will perform live at the Mitchell Opera House on October 19th at 7:00 p.m. The Moon Cats are a family friendly 50s and 60s rock band out of Grant County, IN. They have been together for 5 years, although individually, they have been in the music business for years (one of them for over 40 years). The Moon Cats have appeared at The Indiana State Fair, The James Dean Festival, The Hoosier Park Racing & Casino, The National Bacon Festival, The Howard County Vietnam Reunion, The Honeywell Summer Plaza Concert Series, and much more. Over the years various members have opened for the likes of Lou Christie, Mitch Ryder, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, Mark Lindsay, The Crickets, The Original Comets, The Crystals, Danny & The Jrs. featuring Joe Terry, The Diamonds featuring Dave Sommerville, The Charlie Thomas Drifters, and The Buck Ram Platters. They play the great music of Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Fats Domino, Lloyd Price, Johnny Rivers and many more!
