Liberation Logic: Let's stop doing diversity work on the DeathStar
Rebecca Mintz and Aaron Goggans of Insight-Cite Consulting will be presenting a 2.5 day workshop on Liberation Logic.
The co-created workshop seeks to refine and add to our emergent Liberation Logic framework by learning from the experiences, insight and genius of the participants. The Liberation Logic framework is our current way of thinking about the interconnection between spiritual and social liberation from all forms of oppression.
Rather than using the logic of domination in our collective theories of change [denial, coercion and vilification], Liberation Logic pushed us to use Empathetic Understanding, Holistic Connection and Transformed Power Relationship to move us towards freedom. The facilitators will pair this emergent theory of liberation with practical tools and case studies from the racial justice movement and the Movement for Black Lives.
The workshop will run from 6 to 9pm on Friday, and 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. It is important that participants commit to attending the whole training because the workshop depends on continuity and relationships.
We use a radical sliding scale. Price options range from $25 to $500. Once you click the "register button," you will be able to choose the price option that works for you.
