2018 Miss Florida F.I. at Large Pageant
The 30th anniversary of Miss Florida F.I. at Large is upon us. Beginning in 1988, this pageant is open to Female Impersonators over the 225lb weight restriction who have the desire to represent one of the most coveted titles in Pageant History. Although this pageant has experienced many interruptions, due to various problems, the newly formed Miss Florida F.I. Pageant, Inc., a Florida Corporation spearheaded by Executive Producer/President Alyson Thomas, and Scott Holland, Vice President, have returned the Miss Florida F.I. legacy to reality. In 2014 Miss Florida F.I. was held in Miami Beach with the crowning of Jacksonville's own Brittany Moore. Brittany helped bring the system back on the map and encouraged bar owners statewide to return to preliminaries for the system. After the success of the return of regular, the board determined timing is right to revive at Large. In 2016, Nicole T. Phillips was crowned Miss Florida F.I. at Large. With a host of very talented formers rounding out the 16 successful pageants, Nicole stepped down in 2017 and crowned Angelica Sanchez. Angelica, well known to the Orlando circuit worked hard all year to maintain the focus that the big girls work hard and the hard work shows on stage. The event this year, will feature presentation (evening gown), talent, swimwear, and question and answer. Come join us at the Footlight Theatre in Orlando, FL and show your support for the pageant.
