Replace your Grass Lawn with a No-dig Pollinator Garden
We'll build a no-dig garden to demonstrate the importance of soil to healthy plant life. This exercise will also demonstrate how quickly you can begin permaculture gardening. As we build our new garden, well emphasize how important pollinators are in every garden and the challenges they face these days. You will leave with knowledge with what plants attract which pollinator. Youll also learn which ones share our area and how better to attract them.
As we build our new garden, well also learn about some of the principles of permaculture, which no-till is a big part of. With simple upkeep, your no dig garden will last for years with minimal effort, no matter what you end planting in it. If my experience is a gauge, you probably wont stop at one!
All welcome. Please dress appropriately for the weatherlate April will probably still require a few layers and perhaps some raingearsturdy footwear and gloves are highly recommended.
All participants will receive guided material and wildflower for pollinators seed packets.
$35 with some sliding scale.
