Picnic in the Park 2018

On May 6, join us in Historic Fourth Ward Park for a Sunday afternoon picnic benefitting Wholesome Wave Georgia.

Picnic baskets (for two or four people) are curated by some of Atlanta's favorite chefs and restaurants. Bring your family and/or friends, grab a picnic basket and a blanket, and dine al fresco while enjoying good food, beer and wine, live music, dancing, lawn games, and the beautiful scenery of Atlanta's Historic Fourth Ward Park. Last year's event sold out, so don't wait until the last minute to buy your tickets! Tickets are $35 for a two-person picnic basket and $70 for a four-person basket. Beer and wine open bar tickets are an additional $5 each.

This annual event aims to raise funds for Wholesome Wave Georgia and community awareness in support of the 1.6 million Georgians who are food-insecure and receive Federal Nutrition Assistance (FNA) benefits. Wholesome Wave Georgia aims to provide low-income and food-insecure families with access to fresh, wholesome and locally-grown food by matching their FNA benefits (i.e. SNAP/EBT or WIC) dollar-for-dollar at local farmers markets. Our mission puts more fresh food on the table for these families in need and provides more revenue for small business Georgia farmers.
