Lysistrata
Theatre@First presents it's first ancient Greek comedy "Lysistrata" by Aristohphanes. Although famous for the main characters plan, for the women of the warring nations to withhold sex until peace is declared, Lysistrata is also a deeper play about politics, relationships and never underestimating your opponent.
Using a translation rumored to have been done by Oscar Wilde and featuring choreagraphy from Alex Nemiroski the play presents a timeless version of the classic play that will appeal to everyone.
The play does have some bawdy humor and may not be appropriate for young audience members.
