Cultivate: Making the Farmer-Chef Connection
"Cultivate: Making the Farmer-Chef Connection" is designed to encourage collaboration among farmers and chefs. It's also a fundraiser for Greenville Technical College's Sustainable Agriculture Program.
Registration includes small plate tastings from farmer-chef teams and tea or water. Alcoholic beverages will be available for separate purchase. Our host, Swamp Rabbit Café and Grocery, will have children's food available for purchase.
Proceeds go to the Sustainable Agriculture Program to support purchases of supplies and equipment.
Our farmer-chef teams include Swamp Rabbit Cafe and Grocery with Possum Kingdom Creamery and Forx Farm; Farm Fresh Fast with Timberock at Hopkins Farm and Bio-Way Farm; Upcountry Provisions with Providence Farm and Broken Oak Organics; The Anchorage with Mushroom Mountain, Anson Mills, and Blue Ridge Creamery; Golden Brown & Delicious (GB&D) with Sharon Hill Farm and Reedy River Farms; and Stella's Southern Bistro with Bethel Trails Farm, Valhalla Gardens, and Crescent Farm.
