In an age where political factions create rifts, immigration and human rights are in question, and fake news mixes with the real, what do we have to learn from Shakespeares Histories and the political factions of centuries ago? Shakespeares Revisionist Histories is a devised new work inspired by these ten plays and hundreds of years of political corruption. Step into a sanctuary space where, for the moment, we are free to sing, play, dance, speak, and read the bards rhetoric.
About the All-Stars: The Shakespeare All-Stars Theatre Company inspires, educates, and entertains diverse audiences through performances and workshops. In addition to incredible shows for the public, the All-Stars present fast-paced, interactive touring performances, in-class workshops, and after-school enrichment programs in and around Chicago.
