Brian O hEadhra & Fiona Mackenzie at EFC / Edinburgh Folk Club
Highland duo, Brian Ó hEadhra & Fiona Mackenzie, perform songs from their Irish and Scottish Gaelic traditions but also sing contemporary songs drawing on their own musical tastes and experiences ranging from Celtic and Nordic to Eastern European; Americana to indie music.
The duo have performed together in various bands and projects over the past 19 years including the bands Anam, Seelyhoo, Mackenzie, Cruinn and projects such as Hiort, Clò and Struileag. Between them they have performed over 30 albums and have toured the world performing at festivals, on TV & Radio and at quality venues.
Brian and Fiona will record and release their first duo album together in 2018. They will play a number of prestigious festivals and gigs in Scotland and abroad throughout the year post album launch in early Autumn 2018.
