RCC Russian Balalaika Orchestra's 50th Anniversary Concert
Come join us for an afternoon of spectacular Russian entertainment celebrating the RCC Balalaika Orchestra's 50th Anniversary. Over 50 performers including:
1.The Russian Community Centre Balalaika Orchestra - this group has been performing since 1968 all over the lower mainland as well as in the US.
2.Special guest artists from Russia: Alexander Tsygankov - Russian domra virstuosso with Inna Shevchenko on piano. Alexander Tsygankov is a reknowned domra player from Moscow and has wowed audiences all over the world with his amazing playing.
3. RCC Yablochko Russian Dancers - thisgroup performs Russian folk dances mainly from the central Moscow region. For the last 29 years they have performed locally as well as in US.
4. Elena Razlog - Operatic Soprano - with be singing solo as well as with the RCC Balalaika Orchestra.
5. Slava Alexandrov - balalaika soloist - has been performing with the RCC Balalaika Orchestra for over 25 years.
6. Katya Kiselyova and Kiselnie Berega Choir - have been performing Russian folk songs with the RCC Balalaika Orchestra for the last 4 years.
