Singers On The Grand 20th Celebration Season Show!
Singers On The Grand is a 10-member vocal group based in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Backed by a 6-piece band, "The Grand Band", the group writes and performs a revue every year in the greater Lansing area. The collective musical skills of the group offer styles from Broadway, jazz, sacred music, pop and more. Founded by Libby Brandon, SOTG is directed by Katy Brandon McDonough and Charlie Martin.
For their 20th season, they have pulled top crowd-pleasers from their past performances, and brought in some fresh new arrangements as well. Audiences will hear ensemble highlights from shows "Mary Poppins"and "Jersey Boys"; jazz standards such as "Old Devil Moon", lighter treatments of "New York, New York" and "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend".....and a special appearance by "Elvis"! The 20th Celebration concert will transport listeners through a journey of emotions ranging from misty nostalgia to high comedy. Don't miss the season finale of this special anniversary show!
