Introduction to Fraktur class at Landis Valley
This class will teach you the history of Fraktur--German calligraphy--while you create your own pieces based on original artwork references. As you work, you'll get an introduction to how to make the beautiful lettering used in this folk art form.
Class is part of Landis Valley's 2018 Summer Institute.
Times to Remember:
Breakfast: 8-9 a.m.
Lunch: 12-1 p.m.
Class Times: 9 a.m. - Noon; 1-4 p.m.

Please note that prices quoted include a catered breakfast and lunch in the Yellow Barn each day for Institute participants. If you choose to forgo the meals, please choose the NO-MEAL pricing option, which is $20 less per day you are participating in Institute.
Cancellation Policy:
Registrations will be taken up until June 1. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. Students can make another choice or receive a full refund. Please read the information in your confirmation regarding any materials/tools you may need.
Students must be age 18 or older. Please visit our website, www.landisvalleymuseum.org, for more information on Institute. Landis Valley Associates (LVA) members receive 5% off their registration. If you are a member, please check our website for the code listed with the class and enter it in the "Discount Code" field at checkout.
