Shari Ulrich in concert

Shari Ulrich premiers new songs for her upcoming recording accompanied by daughter Julia Graff (on violin, mandolin, guitar, accordion & vocals) and fellow High Bar Gang member Kirby Barber (on bass, guitar and vocals)

Shari will perform a variety of her original songs from 1976 to the new unreleased songs. She will be performing on piano, guitar, mandolin & violin with her signature spontaneity, warmth and sense of humour and a few new tricks up her sleeve!

She is thrilled to be playing the esteemed Wingham Town Hall Theatre at the invitation of the Beard family. Thomas Beard played cello in the string quartet on Shari's most recent album "Everywhere I Go", as a fellow classmate of daughter Julia, who was engineering the album at McGill University as part of her Masters degree in music in sound recording.

Originally a California girl, Shari's 40 year career from Pied Pumkin, through The Hometown Band, and on as a solo artist and multi-instrumentalist has lead to 23 albums including her collaboration with UHF Bill Henderson and Roy Forbes in (UHF), Barney Bentall & Tom Taylor (BTU), and The High Bar Gang, a 7 piece bluegrass band with Barney Bentall & Colin Nairne. Her work has garnered 2 Juno awards, an induction into the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame, and a 2014 CFMA for English Songwriter of the Year.
