Love Mama Day

Take back Mother's Day for yourself and for your children! Your experience as a mom or person with a mom cannot be fully expressed by a greeting card or bouquet of flowers.

When you join us for Love Mama Day, you will be treated to performances of letters penned to and from mothers. Then, you'll have the opportunity to explore your own motherhood journey through guided writing, enjoy some self-care in the form of gentle yoga and guided meditation, browse a silent auction, enjoy some snacks, and connect with other mothers.

Meanwhile, your children (AGES "WALKING"-12) can enjoy an authentic Love Mama Day experience of their own. Based on the beautiful book Love Mama by Jeanette Bradley, they will have the opportunity to make artwork, engage in writing, or participate in a theatrical adaptation. They'll have snacks and fun and reflect on what it means to have a mother. They may even make you a little something!

Love Mama Day with Women's Theatre Festival promises to be a day of honesty about motherhood, celebration of the women and children that we are, and memorable moments!

Lap babies who stay with their Mamas are welcome and FREE
You DO NOT need to bring a child in order to attend.
In fact, you DO NOT even need to be a mother--either as daughter, expectant mother, or anyone who identifies as a woman, anyone who wants to explore their relationship with the concept of motherhood --all are welcome.
