After graduating college with a TV/Film degree, Kenny Moon spent 5 years in Hollywood as a talent manager and producer. In 2005, he took a huge career leap and entered the home building industry by way of one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Southern California. During his time at this manufacturer, he learned the ins and outs of working directly with homeowners and evolved into working more with builders, contractors and architects. In 2014, he took another career risk by working for one of the largest home remodeling/design sites, Houzz.com. After working for the platform for nearly 3 years, he went back to what he knows and loves, windows and doors! Joining the BMD team in early 2017 as the Architectural Representative for Southern California, he works directly with architects and builders being their main resource for their window and door needs.
Chris Martin has been with BMD Inc. (Marvin Windows distributor in California) since 1994. Prior to BMD, he was a finish carpenter for a custom home contractor in Oakland for 10 years. His roles at BMD include Field Territory Manager in Northern California and later moved into Sales Management for California. His current title is Commercial Sales and Business Development Manager. Chris recently completed certification for CSI, CDT. He is also certified with AAMA as Installation Master Trainer. Chris spends a good portion of his work week, engaged in commercial projects for Marvin and Integrity windows working closely with Architects and Builders. He assists with specification writing for Architects and providing details and performance information for potential Marvin / Integrity projects. Hes also focused on training builders on proper installation protocol outlined by AAMA (through the Installation Masters Training program) as well as ASTM and Marvin window installation best practices. He currently works out of both our distribution headquarters near Sacramento and our So Cal location in Perris.
