Join us for an evening of flamenco music and dance. With special guest Artist Emilio Ochando
About Emilio Ochando:
Emilio Ochando was born in valencia in 1984 and began to train as a dancer at the age of 9, at age 12 he collaborated with the National Ballet of Spain. At the age of 16 he moved to Madrid where he continued his training as a professional dancer and ended his career in the Real Professional Conservatory of Madrid.
Emilio has performed as a soloist dancer in the renowned companies of Domingo Ortega, Inma Ortega, New Spanish Ballet (Rojas and Rodríguez), and Aida Gómez. This allowed him to begin dancing in different tablaos, where he toured the international and national scene.
In his professional career, Emilio is a celebrated dancer but also as a choreographer. creating his own company 3 years ago with shows such as (Ida y Vuelta bolera school, 3DEUNO and now with his third work TINEVO) and has also created choreographies for new elite and recognized companies like Rafael Aguilar. Additionally, Emilio offers workshops and masterclasses all over the world, but most frequently in the United States, Canada, London, Europe and Spain.
In his career he has been awarded in the following categories;
4th prize in classical dance in the national dance contest held in Valencia.
2nd prize in new creators of the city of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
2nd prize for choreography in the Spanish dance and flamenco contest at national level (Madrid).
1st prize in the international contest of Spanish dance and flamenco city of Almeria.
1st prize TALENTMADRID2016 in the Canal theater and Awarded in the dance category in the contest TALENTMADRID 2016 Canal Theater.
1st group choreography prize at the Spanish dance and flamenco at the national level (Madrid) and at the same ceremony, choreography awards for Carlota Santana New York and at the Maria de Avila Superior Conservatory.
He is currently immersed in solo projects for national and international companies as a guest artist and creating his third project with his own company (EmiliOchandoYCia) with the show TINEVO.
