"Apropos to do a MOTHER'S DAY show just a few days before celebrating all the AMAZING mommies out there! However, you do NOT have to be a parent to appreciate this show. Some of my most memorable and meaningful compliments have been from men without children...interesting! That deeply touches me!" -Pam Levin
"I saw Pam Levin's show tonight - This is by far one of the best shows I've seen in years. Anyone in the Los Angeles area, it's a MUST SEE! Remarkably honest and rare. Emotionally charged and side splitting. A beautifully crafted love story, masterfully told."
-Jarret Wright (Actor/Writer/Producer)
It was a wonderful thrill to have my show, "Tales of Modern Motherhood This Sh*t Just Got Real" be the HEADLINER show at this years Whitefire Annual SOLO FEST, where we just COMPLETED a 6 week run. This is the largest one-person show festival on the West Coast. What a phenomenal experience! Before that, we had just BACK from our OFF-BROADWAY, East Coast Premiere at the United Solo Festival in New York City, which was coming off of a SOLD-OUT run at the Santa Monica Playhouse in Los Angeles.
Tales of Modern Motherhood, is a heartfelt comedy about the uncertainties of becoming a parent, the FEAR of being a parent, and the reservations of why we didnt just settle for a dog. It addresses the good, the bad and the ugly truth about what really happens behind closed doors and gives a very honest perspective on the hardest job in the world PARENTING!!!
This one woman show is witty, entertaining, poignant, real, raw, all in one; in short, its everything fine theatre should be.
Excerpt, Review by Bonnie Priever, Curtain Up
"...with the expertise of a Broadway star, Levin delights the audience with stories mothers all over the world can relate to."
Review by Pamela Manganaro, Tolucan Times
***This is the "Director's CUT," we have added 2 deleted scenes from the original script!***
Pam Levin is a veteran in the one-woman show genre. She has toured all over the world, off and on for six years with the AWARD-WINNING show, "The Quiet Room". She also had the pleasure of performing, "In My Own X-Rated Words", written by Fredrica Duke for the last 2 1/2 years in Los Angeles and OFF-Broadway. This is Pam's first time writing her own solo piece, which she crafted in Terrie Silverman's Solo Master Class in Los Angeles.
