BEYOND GHOSTS: Traditional Dumb Supper at the Haunted Van Horn Mansion

March 9, 2013 - Join Beyond Ghosts as we enjoy a dining experience unlike any other, an orchestrated "Dumb Supper" at the haunted and historic Van Horn Mansion. This tradition is timeless, and this is our very own version in an attempt to communicate and honor the dearly departed. The basics of the Beyond Ghosts Dumb Supper are fairly simple, you'll enjoy a lavish and scrumptious five course dinner, served in an elegant fashion by costumed staff. During the dinner service you will have the opportunity to pay homage to your own loved ones who have passed on, by displaying mementos and photos in the dinning room prior to beginning the feast. Of course the former residents of the Van Horn Mansion will be heavily represented as well. If that wasn't enough, and here's the big hook, the entire meal is served in complete silence while listening to period music! The reverence we show through our silence will allow for the dead to join us for supper...and they will! Oh yes, and in keeping with the oldest of traditions, the supper is served in reverse. After the "Dumb Supper" we will explore the mansion together in search of furthering our communion with the Spirit World on site. This is the newest Beyond Ghosts offering and is limited to only 18 tickets in total! This is guaranteed to be one dining experience you won't soon forget.
