Celebrating North Coast's Bounty - A Food Roots Fundraising Dinner
Join the Salmonberry Saloon and Food Roots in celebrating the people who feed us.

A multiple-course locally-sourced menu with regional wine and beer pairings will be the first dinner to come out of the Salmonberry Saloon's kitchen. This dinner will feature a variety of local farmers and food artisans, highlighting the bounty of our North Coast food system and previewing the Salmonberry Saloon's dedication to the farmers, ranchers, fishers, and foragers who make Oregon's North Coast community such an incredible place to eat. Among the dinner's featured producers we thank Nehalem River Ranch, Moon River Farm, Green Fork Farm, Peace Crops, Brickyard Farms, Day Wines, Jackalope Cellars, and the wild yeasts of Lazarus Island.

During the dinner, we will highlight the important work Food Roots is doing throughout Tillamook County to strengthen our local farmers, increase access to locally-grown food for all members of our community, and connect over a thousand local students to where their food comes from through garden-based lessons, farm field trips, local food tastings, and more. We'll talk about how you can support Food Roots and, in doing so, help to create a stronger food system right here at home.

Finally, we will celebrate the people who feed us. Local farmers featured on the dinner's menu will join us as guests, participating in a meal that they make possible through their hard work, passion, and dedication.

ABOUT FOOD ROOTS
Food Roots exists to grow a more robust food system on the north Oregon coast by engaging the community, supporting farmers and entrepreneurs, and improving access to local food.

Our aim is to foster a strong food system in which everyone in Tillamook County will be able to eat local food daily, and through which residents will better understand their role in the local food system, have the ability to grow their own food when possible, and have the resources to eat well. We believe such a food system will lead to a healthier community, a stronger economy, and increased well being throughout our communities.
