Tour: Harbor Island Custom Home Tour

Join AIAOC for a construction custom home tour guided by architect Christopher Brandon, AIA, President ~ Brandon Architects, and Andrew Patterson, President ~ Patterson Custom Homes.
The Harbor Island Residence is a traditional home located on a 9,082 s.f. site, and consists of 7,600 s.f. of living space along with a 900 s.f. 3-car garage. The homes three stories consist of the living space on the main level with an open plan that contrasts with the traditional detailing and finishes. The second level contains three secondary bedroom suites, laundry, gym and master suite overlooking Newport Harbor and Linda Isle to the North. The third level, entertainment space houses a bonus room, bar, and opens to a rooftop view deck of sunsets over Newport Harbor to the South.
We will discuss the design process for custom residential design, client expectations, materials, and the construction process.
The home utilizes a bio-retention system for stormwater management, located in the rear yard, through a series of planters.
