Los Angeles crooner Dom Thomas, originally of St. Louis, MO, will debut his new nightclub show Dom Thomas Presents on April 11, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Bar Lubitsch in West Hollywood. The Russian themed bar has already played host to Thomass musical stylings as well as to his other skills in hosting via Nacho Grandmas Cabaret (a monthly residency throughout 2017).
Dom Thomass music has played to sold out crowds in Chicago, New York City, St. Louis, and in Cape Girardeau, home to his alma mater, Southeast Missouri State University. In 2016 his original music and homages to the greats of jazz and pop received critical and audience acclaim in a national club tour. His LP, Sweet Dreams, is available across music download and streaming platforms along with other single tracks. Thomas is preparing to release new singles, followed by a forthcoming EP, Here to Entertain, due out in fall of 2018.His music can best be described as the soundtrack of a classy dudes newest love affair. Hes the jazz lover that knows more about the greats than youd ever expect but brings his own contemporary sound and aesthetic to songs new and old, funneling sweet, smooth music through a lens of authenticity and personability.Dom Thomas Presents will be one part jazz concert, one part nightclub act, with a dash of talk show honesty thrown in. Three dates are already in place for what is expected to become West Hollywoods most welcoming night of music, each with their own theme. The first show, on April 11th, Dom Thomas Presents: Love, A Night of Romance Featuring the Music of Nat King Cole, will explore the romantic songs of Cole and other artists.
