STEPHANIE SCHNEIDERMAN in Santa Fe
Whether pursuing her prolific work as a solo artist, playing drums for roots-pop act Swan Sovereign (formerly Dirty Martini), hitting the stage in the musical The Full Monty, or producing childrens CDs (soundtracks for popular childrens videos OyBaby and That Baby) Stephanie Schneiderman is, hands down, one of the most diversely talented artists in the Northwest. She follows up her ambient/trip-hop album Rubber Teardrop with a radically different sound on her stripped-down acoustic release, Live at the Old Church, playing piano and guitar, as well as featuring 45th Parallel String Quartet and a choir. Since her solo career began with a coveted spot in the Lilith Fair, Schneiderman has earned extensive NW radio play, a devout following and multiple appearances with some of the nations top touring acts, including Aimee Mann, Hall & Oates, Heart, Chicago, Madeleine Peyroux, and Andy Summers. Schneidermans music has been in numerous films and TV shows.
