MODERN JAZZ MEETS MODERN DANCE

Multiple Grammy Award winning musician Howard Levy has developed a truly unique event in conjunction with innovative modern dancer (and Dance Center Evanston faculty member) Enid Smith. This performance will feature a collection of movement solos & duets by enidsmithdance accompanied by Howard's original compositions. Enid Smith is a former member of the Merce Cunningham 2nd Company and currently dances in Chicago with Lucky Plush and Khecari. Howard Levy is a highly sought-after musician who has worked with artists ranging from Bela Fleck to Paul Simon and Donald Fagan.

Both Howard and Enid are utterly spectacular and we can't wait to see what their partnership produces. This performance -- modern jazz meets modern dance -- speaks to both of our obvious loves at Studio5, and we hope you'll join us for what promises to be an unforgettable evening.
