NOGU SVELO!
http://nogu-svelo.ru/
**Nogu Svelo! ( !)** could simply translate as "Ouch, I've got cramp in my leg!" but the instantly catchy Nogu Svelo! sounds great anyway, regardless of what it means!
Nogu Svelo! is excited to announce that the US tour has just been added to its 2018 roster.
The whole year of 2018 the most paradoxical band hailed from Russia will spend under the slogan 30 years to spite show-business. This motto fully describes the bands ideology to ignore the rules of entertainment industry. As a result the history of Nogu Svelo! abounds with startling ascents altered with sudden faults, prestigious awards combined with bitter disappointments and nationwide hits rotated with alternative experiments.
At the end of the day I have found our band pretty consistent, because our stability throughout all these years is based upon our unpredictability- says Max Pokrovskiy, the bands leader. Every time we tackle something new, we do it from scratch and never know what to expect. We dont work in the traces and it keeps us hungry.
2018 has just began, but the destiny already brought the band a few surprises: the most popular newspaper Moskovskij Komsomolets has already announced that Nogu Svelo! won the Megabit Award, which acknowledges the band as the most unique and progressive. Also the brand new album The Continents of My Planet has been nominated for Nashe Radios Chartova Duzhina Award as the best album of the year.
Nogu Svelo! combine unique, contemporary sounds, insane effects, vigorous beats and cheeky lyrics full of satirical, dark humor to produce a sound which is both wildly different yet instantly likeable. Nogu Svelo! became famous with the excellent Haru Mamburu, an infectiously catchy, tongue-in-cheek load of waffle in a non-existent language. It is ridiculous but it is also quite brilliant and is a perfect example of what the band are all about.
Nogu Svelo! started in the early 90's and their success has seen them sell over a whopping 10 million records and perform to crowds of over 100,000 at many of the big music festivals across Europe. The band continues to successfully tour regularly.
